The Story of the Grasshopper and the Ants
This is the familiar story of the Grasshopper
and the Ants. All summer long, the Grasshopper
sang while the Ants industriously put away
food for the winter. When winter came, the
Grasshopper began to be hungry and went to the
Ants to ask for some food. The Ants said that
since he had wasted the summer he deserved
to be hungry.
Moral: Waste your time as you please, but
never let yourself become dependant upon
the self-righteous.
